About The Foundation

About Us

The Barbara Frances Family Foundation was established in 2021 with one vision in mind: to assist families and individuals through modest financial support. By providing help, education, and community support, we aspire to instill hope for families needing assistance. We stand for equality, dignity, and empowered citizenship.

That’s why we started The Barbara Frances Family Foundation; we wanted to give families access to a better standard of living. We understand how we can only advance as a society when each member can gain access to more opportunities. A better world is in our hands, and our foundation seeks to improve the future. Our focus is on assisting the most vulnerable individuals and families in the community.

Our Mission

The Barbara Frances Family Foundation was established in 2021 by the Mulhern family of Cary, North Carolina. Our mission is to lend a helping hand to others in our community. Working with local community nonprofits, we identify individuals and families who could benefit from a modest level of financial support to help them experience improved circumstances. The foundation is a tribute to our mother’s/grandmother’s legacy of kindness and belief in the goodness of all people. It has been funded with donations of $1,000,000. Barbara Mulhern and Frances Kreeger both died in their early fifties, and we aim to reflect their love and spirit through giving back to our community
